Description
of rectangular form on bracket feet with hinged double doors between two drawers surmounted by a decorative arched pediment , inlaid throughout with ebony, ivory, tortoiseshell and mother-of-pearl, the doors decorated with palmettes, cartouche panels and angelic figures, similar design echoed on the interior, the front and sides with a mosaic of interlocking polygons
Condition
in good overall condition, minor warping to front doors, areas of loss to inlaid wood borders of lower front drawer, minor losses to mother-of-pearl triangular and diamond plaques to sides, arched pediment with losses and consolidation to extremities, as viewed
