of truncated conical form with flaring walls stepped down to a vertical foot, painted in two shades of cobalt and black under a transparent colourless glaze, the interior divided into four panels by radial black bands filled with naskh inscriptions reserved between vivid blue borders, the intermediary panels with a palmette flanked by birds, the exterior with waterweed pattern
