Description
two bowls of rounded form one of chocolate brown lustre the other golden, each with an arabesque well, one with pseudo calligraphic rim and reverse, two cups of chocolate lustre with lobed registers painted with paired bird and scroll and dot motif and foliate scroll interiors, two jugs with narrow necks and faceted mouths painted in chocolate lustre their shoulders decorated with hunting dogs, one with harpy roundels the other with scroll and dot vertical registers, two jars one with faceted shoulder decorated in a light lustre with an arcade of paired roundels on a scroll ground, the other of dark chocolate lustre with roundels enclosing paired bird motif, the three ewers of baluster form one with a tall cylindrical neck decorated with calligraphic bands reserved against a lustre ground and a frieze of flying ducks on a scroll ground, the others with kufesque and foliate bands, the bottle with globular body, narrow neck and flared tulip mouth painted with paired bird motif roundels the neck and mouth with kufesque and lustre bands
Condition
overall in good condition, breaks to one of the bowls with associated repair, losses to footring of the other bowl and one of the ewers, areas of glaze cracquelure throughout, as viewed
