the black lacquer (roiro nuri) case decorated with foliate scrolls in gold hiramaki-e enclosing a bronze and pewter heavy mirror.

Condition

Mirror good contition, lacquer body, exterior top has some crack (about 8in) and touched up with black lacquer the sides just above the handle has similar crack and relacquered, cover has circular bottom corner crack all the way through and restored. This lot will be offered without reserve.
