Condition

Please note that the outermost border shown on the photograph in the catalogue is not part of the carpet but is the background against which the carpet was photographed. Colors in illustration are true to the original. Fabric backed. Minor slits at color changes, most restitched. Scattered small rewoven areas, particularly in field, with approximately 1in. by 0.5in. being the largest in size. Surface abrasions and some minor areas of oxidized dark browns. Few scattered spot stains. One, approximately 4in. by 2in. watermark in one corner of border. Approximately 2in. wide black border on sides and ends folded under and sewn. Field is striated due to abrash as visible in catalogue. Very good overall condition, lively colors, elegant design, ready for use.
