Frame abrasion lower left corner. 3 inch diagonal scuff on the floor beneath doorway. Unlined. Under UV: heavy varnish fluoresces. Small strokes of inpainting to wall to right of doorway.

Christian Tiileman-Petersen was born in Copenhagen and was a painter of interiors and architecture. He studied at the Academy of Copenhagen. Several of his paintings are preserved in the Museum of Copenhagen.
