A drawing for a console with very similar supports and dated 1805 is illustrated in Torsten Sylvén, Speglar Spegelmarkare & Farbrikörer i Sverige 1650-1850, Stockholm, 2000, p. 59. Anther console table with virtually identical supports on different feet, is illustrated in Bo Vahlne, Le Château de Rosendal, Stockholm, 1986, p. 37.
Marble top in excellent condition. Wear to the giltwood frieze and supports consistent with age. With some in-painting, small old repairs and minor losses.
