A fine Russian Neoclassical ormolu and brass-mounted and inlaid mahogany bureau-cabinet early 19th century

the top section with two glazed cupboard doors opening to reveal three shelves; the lower section with a cylinder opening to reveal a sliding, leather-lined writing surface, the interior fitted with a central cupboard door flanked on either side by four pigeon holes, flanked by three further drawers.

The ormolu mounts are later replacements. Some dents and marks to the brass mounts. Very minor hairline cracks consistent with age. Old minor restorations.
