  • Nicolas Ruth is recorded working at 24 rue de Charonne between 1811 and 1836, see Denise Ledoux-Lebard, Les ébénistes du XIXe siècle, Paris, 1984, p. 567.

Condition

Old minor marks, very minor surface scratches and dents consistent with age and use, however has been expertly restored. The legs have been blocked. Restorations to the back legs of one chair. Very minor hairline crack. In otherwise very good condition. This lot will be offered without reserve.
