  • Nicolas Ruth is recorded working at 24 rue de Charonne between 1811 and 1836, see Denise Ledoux-Lebard, Les ébénistes du XIXe siècle, Paris, 1984, p. 567.

Condition

Minor restoration to one of the armchairs on the right side of the seat rail where it joins the arms, minor worm holes scratches and dents. Legs have been blocked, very minor restoration to the back right leg of one of the chairs, minor restorations to the feet. In otherwise very good condition. This lot will be offered without reserve.
