Description

  • Jean-Simon Bourdier, maître in 1787 recorded working on the Quai de l'Horloge in 1800, rue Mazarine in 1806 and rue Saint-Denis 1810-1830.
  • height 25 3/4 in.; width 17 3/4 in.
  • 65 cm; 45 cm
the white enamelled dial signed Bourdier with subsidiary seconds and date rings, the striking movement with compensation pendulum contained within a portico with triangular pediment centered by a lyre supported by Ionic columns, raised on a stepped plinth base.
