the roll-top opening to reveal a sliding, leather lined writing surface, the interior fitted with a shelf flanked on either side by a frieze drawers above four further frieze drawers above a long drawer flanked on either side by a drawer above a double tiered shelf flanked by open compartments.

Condition

One main horizontal hairline crack to the top with a stained restoration to the back left of the top. With old minor marks, chips, dents and scratches consistent with age. Some rubbing to the brass inlay with other minor restorations. Marks to the drawers. Interior in generally good condition.
