Condition
The mirror plate is possibly a later replacement. Minor marks and rubbing to the gilding.

A similar table with sphinx-carved mirror is preserved at Elghammar Castle outside Stockholm, and is illustrated, Håkan Groth, Neoclassicism in the North, London 1990, p. 172. Another is reproduced Sigurd Wallin, Möbler från Svenska Herremanshem, vol. III, Stockholm, 1935, p. 170, fig. 1239.
