Description

  • height 18 1/4 in.; diameter 12 1/4 in.
  • 46 cm; 31 cm
with entwined snaked handles, crossed swords in underglaze blue. Restored. Now fitted with a brass cup.

Condition

Handles extensively restored; stem restored. Minor chips to the paint where the brass cup meets the snake heads. There is extensive wear to the gilding especially to the base rim and snake handles. The brass cup with a loose plug at its base. Minor rubbing to the gilding generally. Lacking cover. This lot will be offered without reserve.
