Description

  • A Greek Bronze Figure of a Bull, Boeotian
  • Length 5 1/8 in. 13.1 cm.
standing with the left legs slightly advanced, with long tufted tail, short dewlap, grooved folds on the neck, small ears beneath the fragmentary horns, finely engraved hair on the forehead, almond-shaped eyes with circular pupils, ribbed brows, and an incised dentate pattern on the upper lip.
