- A Bronze Figure of Aphrodite Pselioumene
- Height 5 15/16 in. 15,1 cm.
after a 4th Century Greek sculpture often attributed to Praxiteles, hollow-cast, the goddess standing on a profiled circular base with the weight on her left leg and raising her hands as if to arrange a necklace, her centrally parted hair bound in a diadem and tied in a chignon behind, the recessed eyes with remains of inlay, the earlobes pierced.

hollow-cast, small casting flaws under proper right armpit and beneath buttocks, iron stain on proper right shoulder blade, inlaid eyes now mostly missing, figure reattached to base with modern screw, otherwise as shown and described
