- A Marble Figure of a Woman
- Height 78 in. 198 cm.
based on an East Greek funerary sculpture of the 2nd Century B.C., standing with her weight on the right leg and holding her left arm below the breasts, and wearing a long pleated chiton and enveloping fringed himation draped as a veil over her head and falling in long folds over her left forearm, her wavy hair parted in the center and surmounted by a fragmentary stephane; the right arm restored.

large chip on proper right cheek, stephane and top of veil broken off and formerly restored, nose and upper lip restored in plaster, chin restored in marble, neck and parts of veil around neck restored in marble and plaster, also restored in marble are proper right arm, part of proper right shoulder, part of proper right breast, and 4th and fifth fingers, index finger mostly restored in plaster, ancient base was removed for insertion of statue into new base
