  • An Attic White Ground Lekythos, attributed to the Zannoni Painter
  • Height 14 1/16 in. 35.7 cm.
painted with a standing woman holding a plemochoe in her right hand and a rosette-decorated box in her left hand, a heron(?) at her feet, an oinochoe in the field behind her, linked palmettes on the shoulder, meander below.

Condition

darker area in photo shows where two large fragments were broken off and repaired with slight restoration and inpainting along joins, losses to black glaze on foot, above foot, and on handle, losses to white as shown, minor chips elsewhere, particularly around rim
