Description
- A Large Cypriot Buff-ware Amphora
- Height 27 1/8 in. 68.9 cm.
the body and neck each painted in red and black with alternating linked lotus buds and flowers between encircling lines and bands, two zigzag bands on the neck, a lattice pattern below the neck and in the handle zones, alternating red and black groups of tongues on top of the rim.

acquired in London in 1980 or 1983
Condition
good and as shown, note surface wear, paint quite worn and encrusted on reverse side of neck, two small cracks on one handle, one small crack on other handle, both stable, small hairline crack at base of neck on side not shown
