- A Persian Terracotta Figure of a Goddess, Southwest Caspian Area
- Height 8 1/4 in. 21 cm.
of columnar form, standing with her circular arms held beneath her breasts, and wearing incised anklets, armlets, fragmentary bronze earrings, and cylindrical crenelated diadem, with dotted-circle navel and eyes, incised fingers, pierced ears with notched rims, and long applied braid falling from beneath the diadem behind, a bronze cone inside the head.
