  • An Apulian Red-figured Bell Krater
  • Height 17 in. 43.2 cm.
painted in front with a woman holding a wreath and bunch of grapes, Dionysos with cista and thyrsos, and a satyr bending forward and holding a patera and situla, the reverse decorated with two draped youths holding staffs on either side of a tall plant.
