- Two Corinthian Pottery Vessels
- Heights 8 3/4 in. 22.2 cm.; 7 3/16 in. 18.7 cm.
comprising a Proto-Corinthian ovoid alabastron ornamented in black with encircling lines and bands on the body, tongues radiating from the indented base, tongues below and on top of the mouth, a red-painted design on the underside, and a hydria decorated in red and black over the white ground with encircling bands on the body and a checkerboard band on the shoulder, rays above the foot, red bands encircling the black-glazed foot, neck, and mouth.

Condition
alabastron: rim repaired with inpainting and small areas of restoration along breaklines, one small chip along rim, another on top of rim, large deep chip on underside of base, two small chips on body, some minor flaking to black, misfiring overall; hydria: one side of rim repaired, some flaking to black glaze, minor chips, handle encrusted, misfiring to some of rays above foot
