- A Polychrome Buff-ware Amphora, Etrusco-Geometric
- Height 17 3/8 in. 49.3 cm.
with high splayed foot, piriform body, slightly concave neck with flaring mouth, and double-arched handles each with crescentic ornament on top, the body painted overall in red and black with registers of various geometric ornaments, the main frieze containing panels with waterbirds, checkerboards, concentric circles, a rosette, and other motifs.
