Description

  • A Group of Faience, Stone, and Glass Amulets and Beads
strung as a necklace and arranged into earrings, including two faience lion heads, four glass eye pendants, a blue glass and other poppy pod or cornflower pendants, faience amulets of Isis, Harpocrates, Pataek, Thoeris, and heads of Bes and Hathor, three carnelian amulets of Harpocrates, a diorite Eye of Horus, a faience amulet of four superimposed eyes, faience lotus flowers, a hardstone heart amulet, and globular carnelian beads, the earrings each including a quadruple Eye of Horus bead.

Nassar Brothers, Cairo, 1958, given to the current owner's wife as a graduation present

generally good, a few minor chips, one pendant missing, a flower pendant on one of earrings chipped
