  • Nine Faience and Stone Objects
  • Heights 2 5/8 to 5/8 in. 6.7 to 1.6 cm.
comprising a 12th Dynasty steatite seal surmounted by a seated baboon, a pale blue-green faience torso of a lion-headed goddess holding a papyrus scepter, the back pillar inscribed, two holes on top of the head for insertion of the headdress, a blue faience figure of Thoeris, a striding figure of ram-headed Khnum, a blue faience figure of an ape-headed deity, a blue-green faience head of Neith, a red jasper bust of a lion-headed deity with crocodile tail, a steatite standing figure of Isis enfolding Horus in her wings and wearing a striated tripartite wig and diadem, the crown missing, and a pair of confronted stone apes worshipping a gilded image of the sun.
