There is an unsigned version ascribed to Frans Francken III in the Alte Pinakothek in Munich, inv. no. 5050, on panel (see U. Härting, Frans Francken der Jüngere (1581-1642), Freren 1989, p.185, for a discussion on Frans Francken III).
Härting does not mention this painting, and as the present work is signed, we can assume this is the prototype.
