This lot will be accompanied by a reproduction of the painting signed by Berninghaus on the reverse.  The inscription reads: “The reverse of this is a reproduction from my painting: To the best of my recollection it was painted in 1921-- commissioned by Woodward & Tiernan Printing Co.- St. Louis, O.E. Berninghaus 1/14-44"
