Condition

Canvas does not appear to be lined, although the edges are taped to stretcher--there is the possibility of an old fragile lining. SURFACE: in generally good condition UNDER ULTRA VIOLET: there appear to be two layer of inpainting--a newer one which fluoresces more robustly: craquelure fill-in at upper left in sky and lower part of left edge; and an older layer (barely noticeable)--also at upper left in sky, at lower left and scattered throughout sky
