The present lot is one of several drawings by Rockwell which appeared on two pages of the Saturday Evening Post of January 27, 1945 as a feature entitled, "The Common Cold". The caption under this particular image read, "It looks as though Reverend Fernum will end his sermon with the usual "Let us spray"".
