Condition

Canvas laid down on masonite. Craquelure to the sky; a repaired tear above the left cow and trees, ca. 5 in. long; pentimenti above the central cow; yellowed varnish. Under UV light: the inpainting at left is under opaque varnish; some other smaller areas of inpainting visible at upper right and lower right.
