(work is backed with a sheet of lucite) SURFACE: in fairly good condition; a repaired diagonal tear at lower right, above corner (about 4 1/2 in. long)--is covered by a piece of beige tape, verso; some crackling on reattached piece of corner UNDER ULTRA VIOLET: inpainting along tear at l.r. and on crackle; scattered repaints along edges (under frame); sheet is attached to lucite backing with glue at the corners
