Cet élément de proue de pirogue lagim, sculpté dans un bois lourd au moyen d'un outil en pierre, montre une forme inhabituelle asymétrique, avec un décor gravé et ajouré caractéristique : la face entièrement ornée de têtes d'oiseaux stylisés à bec recourbé, dessinant une série de motifs curvilignes spiralés. Très belle qualité de la gravure. Traces de pigments rouges, blancs et noirs dans les creux de la gravure.
