osebo gwa, dont le nom désigne le léopard - au pelage moucheté signifié par des cercles gravés - cariatide. L'animal, hautement stylisé, est formé de volumes strictement géométriques, à la surface épannelée, exaltant la puissance de sa musculature. Il porte l'assise rectangulaire et incurvée caractéristique des sièges de type Akan. Patine nuancée, brun rouge sur l'animal, claire sur l'assise.

Condition

Wear consistent with age and use within the culture. The end of the "queu" has been broken and repaired (glue). Small loss to one edge of the seat. A few stable cracks.
