Catalogue Note
This painting is sold with an accompanying certificate from Warlayirti Artists that reads in part: 'Artist's Grandfather's Country. The painting concerns Tingari activities in the Dreamtime and involves Karnka, the Crow. He was travelling around and around a dead kangaroo here. He ate a lot of meat and then had to go to the toilet a lot. His faeces are today seen in some unusual rock formations found in the area. The artist grew up in this area.'
