Condition
Top Image:
The painted surface area is in good condition. There is a slight lateral abrasion along the top middle (part of the painting process). Many of the white dots have discoloured by absorption of the resin, in the undercoat. There is minor lifting of the black resinous dots in the black triangular shape in the lower left corner.
Lower Image:
The painting is in very good condition with a small number of the white dots missing paint mainly in the botom right corner. There are minor abrasions to the surface in the left hand section and to the top right. The areas which appear black in the catalogue reproduction are actually a black/brown. The paitning is housed in a dark staine timber frame.
