amarante, green stained sycomore, loupe de peuplier, black and gold Japanese lacquer within Nashihi lacquer encadrement, brocatelle violette du Jura marble top above a spring-released frieze drawer, the fall front opening to a ébène-veneered interior with fruitwood parquetry and lacquers, four small drawers and gilt-tooled red leather writing surface, the center of the frieze fitted with one drawer, the carcass stamped three times BEURDELEY / A PARIS to the back.
