  • 'Mohn f' in gilding below the panel; 27 in red enamel on the base
  • 10.9cm., 4¼in.
signed, the waisted cylindrical form painted with a gilt titled view of Das Bergschlofs Greiffenstein an der Donau, within an amber-stained rectangular panel gilt with formal leaves, a band of gilt leaves and scroll on an amber band below a gilt-edged rim, above a part amber-stained cogwheel foot and star-cut base

Condition

some typical rubbing to the gilding, especially on the rim and on the palisade flutes; there is a 1cm. by 5mm narrow oval restored chip to the rim above the inscription 'Donau'.
