of purple tint, the flared bowl engraved with a church, flanked by foliate scroll and floral vases, inscribed on the reverse WESTER KERCK VAN AMSTERDAM, above a cut band of arched flutes, set on a faceted double-knopped stem and domed foot with folded rim

In the past, the engraving on this glass has been tentatively attributed to Jacob Sang. However, stylistically it does not conform with his workmanship.
