Condition

The surfaces throughout with a few occasional stress fracture to the veneering consistent with age and use. With some light surface scratches, abrasion marks and minor scattered staining to the top surfaces consistent with age and use. The gilt carved finial is missing one of its dowel posts that secures it to the frame of the mirror. The chair shows slightly heavier signs of wear with scattered veneer losses along the edges (most prevalent to the top) and a few slightly deeper surface scratches and scars. Very elegant forms displaying superb wood selection.
