Condition

Overall in very good condition, original finish. This two-piece bar has several unique design elements that are the result of the collaboration between the consignor and Nakashima. The lower and larger piece could easily function on its own as a hanging sideboard. It has two caned panels that do not slide, but can be lifted exposing a single shelf on each side. The central pair of drawers open to reveal built-in trays on each door. The upper element is more narrow and sits far closer to the wall than the lower piece. Its two sliding doors reveal a total of three adjustable glass shelves for barware. Both elements show only gentle wear with minor surfaces scratches, areas of discoloration (three average size drink rings to the top of the lower element), and areas of rubbing. The underside of the upper case element fitted with lighting, to illuminate the top surface of the lower case.
