Condition
The canvas is original. There is some frame abrasion to the left of the lower edge and to the upper right corner. There is a horizontal line of paint cracking to the left of the sitter's head. Ultra violet light reveals a spot of retouching to the figure's right leg and a varnish. Held in a gold painted frame.
