The board is sound. There are a few tiny scattered specks of staining to the upper right corner and some light surface dirt. Otherwise in good overall condition. Ultra violet light reveals no sign of retouching. Held in a simple wooden frame.

Catalogue Note
The current works were painted in 1950 at Rockfield Park, Monmouth when Williams was staying with Sir Leonard Twiston-Davies, then President of the National Museum of Wales.
