Judith Bumpus, Reginald Brill, Scolar Press in association with Kingston University, 1999, pl.21, illustrated.

Condition

There is a raised horizontal line across the bottom of the composition which looks as though it has been caused by the joining of two sections of paper. Along the line a number of the mosaic tiles have come loose although on the whole it is stable. The upper left edge of the work has become slightly detached from its backboard. There are some discoloured mosaic tiles towards the edges probably caused by the slightly protruding nails beneath. There are very small flecks of white staining within the upper left quadrant. Under glass and held in a cream painted wooden box frame.
