Condition

There is a repaired tear approx 3cm in length to the upper part of the flowerpot. There is some minor craquelure to much of the surface, especially within the upper and lower left quadrants. There is evidence of paint separation to the uppermost flower. The work has been scuffed in the upper left corner causing a small amount of paint loss. The left edge of the work is worn. Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals spots of retouching in and around the flowers, towards the lower edge of the work and to the repaired damage. Held in a gilt wooden and plaster frame.
