Condition

The canvas has been relined. There are areas of craquelure and paint separation across the surface of the work. The painting is quite dirty and would benefit from a clean. The thick impasto is quite difficult to read under ultra-violet light but there is one small spot in the upper right quadrant which fluoresces under ultra-violet light which coincides with a spot of paint loss. Held in a green and red painted wooden frame which has sustained some losses.
