Condition
There is some craquelure within the areas of thickly applied paint. The edges of the work are worn. The canvas itself is very heavy and as a result of its course nature the weave is visible through the surface of the paint. There are areas of paint separation visible through a horizontal passage through the centre of the work. Under glass and held in a gilt wooden and plaster frame. Unexamined out of its frame.
