Condition

The canvas is unlined and is in good overall condition. There are a few tiny spots of surface matter in the upper left corner but otherwise the paint surface is in good overall condition. There is no sign of retouching under ultra-violet light. Held beneath glass within a canvas slip and presented in a wooden frame with a gilded edge.
