Condition

The work is on wove paper and is not laid down. The sheet is attached to the mount by small pieces of tape in the top left and right corners. The right edge of the sheet is slightly uneven and there is a light crease in the upper right corner, presumably the results of the sheet having been removed from a sketchbook. There is an area of mould on the backboard which is beginning to affect the sheet along the bottom edge in the lower left quadrant. The edges of the sheet have been slightly stained but this is not visible when the sheet is presented in the mount. Presented behind glass in a simple wooden frame with a cream canvas slip.
