Provenance

Harold Riley, Salford

Condition

The work is on wove paper which has been laid down on to card. There is a band of staining along the edges of the sheet, apparently as a result of a previous frame. The staining is particularly apparent along the top edge, and in an area in the centre of the right edge, where the staining looks like the result of applied sellotape or a similar adhesive. All but the bottom edge of the sheet are very slightly scuffed. The artist's media marks are visible around the two figures and the signature. The work is unframed.
