Condition
The canvas is unlined and is in good overall condition.
There is an area of craquelure and paint separation in the upper right quadrant. A tiny area of paint loss has occurred to a spot of impasto in the centre of the upper edge.
Examination under ultra-violet light reveals a small spot of fluorescence in the lower right quadrant but this appears to be the artist's reworking of the paint surface.
Held in a simple metal frame.
